Yes, it’s our Second Anniversary show. Okay, we count all the episodes all the way back to 9/17/2016. But we celebrate on the anniversary of Episode 5, when we first started using the name PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR.
And this week, we celebrated by bowling our first SWISS of the season. A SWISS is where all three qualifying games are contested as Match Play. Pairings are drawn at random for the first game, and then after that, each subsequent game is a Position Round. (That’s what a SWISS is.) We awarded 30 bonus pins for each match you won, so with a total of 90 bonus pins available, winning your matches becomes all the more important.
It’s a normal, 5-player, 4-match stepladder, as Anthony Smiga attempts to repeat as champion in our Anniversary event. He won last year on our First Anniversary show.
As always, your play-by-play monkey is the show’s creator and editor, USBC Silver Certified Coach Randy Brown. Randy is also a former PBA member and serves as Volunteer Youth Director at Brunswick Zone Roswell, where the series originates.
Your comments are always welcome and encouraged, but we insist that you keep your critiques of the bowlers positive. Remember, the mission of PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR is to “Celebrate Junior Bowling while we Elevate Junior Bowlers.” Keep your comments helpful, not hurtful, and we’ll be fine. But if you have nothing more to add than to insult our bowlers, your comment(s) will be removed.
